Financial Seminar for Young People (3 sessions) is a seminar structured for young adults and university students who want to learn the basics of household budget management and asset building and put them into practice.

The OECD Centre on Green Finance and Investment is hosting the 10th edition of the flagship OECD Forum on Green Finance and Investment, which will be held from October 2-3 2023, in-person at the OECD Headquarters in Paris and virtually, with online streaming. This year’s Forum will be convened as a series of high-level panels and breakout sessions focused on the theme ‘Accelerating policy action to close the credibility gap’. Now in its 10th year, the Forum will be a unique opportunity to take stock of progress so far and foster discussions on shaping policies and instruments that effectively mobilise finance for transformative investments for the well-being of people and the planet. The Forum will convene policymakers, experts and practitioners from both the public and private sector to discuss recent policy developments and outstanding challenges and barriers to mobilise finance and investment for a low-emission, climate-resilient, nature-positive and just transition worldwide.

This business-matching event aims to promote the expansion of the asset management and Fintech companies into Fukuoka by creating the business opportunities for local startup companies in Kyushu to raise funds, and for Fintech companies from Japan and oversea to do business with local financial institutions in Kyushu.

This forum is aimed towards stakeholders of domestic and international financial institutions, etc., and will address subjects pertaining to global trends and future outlook of sustainable finance.

The government of Japan, in cooperation with relevant parties, will hold “Japan Weeks” from September 25 to October 6, with intensively inviting foreign investors and asset management companies, to promote relevant policies for the realization of an international financial center and Japan’s attractiveness as a financial and capital market.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and City of London Corporation have been deepening their collaboration in financial sector since 2017. As part of this collaboration, the two cities and the British Embassy in Japan will co-host a seminar, which will feature the initiatives in both cities to develop the green finance market.

JSDA and ICMA cohosts an annual event to enhance the understanding of trends in sustainable bonds market, including green bonds, for market participants. This year the event will focus on transition finance in the public and private sectors with a review of the progress of Japan’s sustainable bond market. The event, which will also be held in a hybrid format, will include simultaneous translation.

Session 2 will focus on the theme of “Protecting” and “Growing” your money and provide knowledge about the basics of investment in an easy-to-understand manner.
